Engagement Gift, Part Deux

The time has finally arrived when I turn in my trusty old iPod for a brand spanking new one! On Monday Apple released their latest and greatest update to their popular digital music player. It's slimmer, has a new Click Wheel, includes new software features, and a lower price to boot! I'm really excited and anxious to get my hands on one of these babies.

So why the title for this post? Because my first iPod, which I adore and use every single day, was an engagement gift, sort of, from my wife. It actually was a present for my 26^th birthday, but we got married next April. I joke about the true purpose for the gift, but my iPod has true sentimental value. Even though I might get the new one, you know, as a "renewal of my vows", I'll still keep my previous one and cherish its significance for years to come.

Or at least until the battery dies out.
