Another Weekend Wrap Up
Hello again and welcome to yet another "slice-n-dice" of the events that happened during my weekend.
On the evening of Friday July 16, after getting off work, I called up a couple of friends so we could get together and play Four Swords Adventures. It was my pals Digital and Juan who joined me in a fun and hilarious romp throughout Hyrule. We cooperated, we competed, we had a great time. I'm definitely looking forward to our next game.
Saturday we took our pet dog Baileys to his least favorite place: the Vet's office. He was a nervous wreck; whining and shedding everywhere! They finally took him in, checked him for any type of parasites, and gave him his yearly shots. The visit cost us over $170! I sure hope somebody invents pet health incurance because I don't think my wallet can take keeping my dog healthy.
We left Baileys home to rest and went out to see the movie I, Robot. It's a pretty cool Scifi flick about robots in the future and such. It could be considered a prequel to the Matrix movies, but with a different twist at the end. My wife, my youngest brother, and I enjoyed it very much. Go see it if you're into futuristic techno conspiracies.
And I almost missed Sunday because I slept till Noon! The day was muggy and it rained all morning so getting out of bed was a hassle. We did have an engagement later in the afternoon; a birthday to be exact. My wife's cousin was turning six that day and his grandparent's were throwing a party over at their house in Las Piedras. We drove over and stayed for the food and cake. Unfortunately the birthday boy was feeling kind of sick or something because he wasn't around to enjoy his own party.
On our way back home my wife insisted I call my parents, so I did. They were finishing dinner and invited us over for a few minutes. This eventually turned into two hours and stayed to watch our favorite Sunday shows The 4400 and The Dead Zone.
And we say goodbye to yet another weekend hoping something just as exciting will happen in the days to come.
