There And Back Again

Last night at around 11PM I was channel surfing, but nothing interesting was on. I've never been an "early to bed" kind of person, so I looked around for something to do before going to bed. I decided to rummage around my night table's drawers when I came across a book: The Hobbit by J.R.R. Tolkien. I remembered reading a while back the first few pages to my wife so she would fall asleep. It was funny the way I tried to imitate the voices of Bilbo and Gandalf from the Lord Of The Rings movies.

Picking up the book, I flipped through a couple of pages until I found where I left off and began to read. I got to where the dwarves invade Bilbo's home and begin to party, sort of like some uninvited frat guys in your dorm. I got a little drowsy and put it down, but I might continue tonight to find out if Bilbo kicks the dwarves out or if Gandalf turns them all into wart-covered toads.

Who knows? This might be the start of a new hobby!
