Just One Of Those Days

This week ended in a day in which I didn't feel I was very productive at all.

When I arrived at the office, I sat at my desk, pulled out my PowerBook, and... waited for anything to happen. I was either being called to figure out some feature in PowerPoint or taking care of an office printer's paper jam. Besides that, I would go back to my cubicle and wait again. I did actually tinker some more with the small Final Cut Express project I've been working on recently, adding music to the sequence.

At the end of the day I felt kind of depressed. So, on my drive back from work, a lot of stuff was going through my head when I noticed a part of a rainbow in the sky. This might sound corny, but it kind of lifted my spirits a bit. It's like God saying to me: "Yeah, I know how you feel, but c'mon, it's Friday and your on your way home. Cheer up!"

When I arrived, I was greeted by being jumped on by my dog, like Dino in the Flintstones, my wife had dinner ready and sat down to eat, then I headed straight to bed. Another day crossed out on the calendar.

Who knows what tomorrow might bring...
