PRE-AMP
The 640P
phono pre-amplifier (sometimes known as a phono stage) also uses
superior amplification circuitry for its MM and MC stages to
provide the lowest possible distortion and noise. In addition,
the flagship model employs multi-parallel capacitors to achieve
exceptional RIAA accuracy of only 0.3dB up to 50kHz and features
a defeatable subsonic filter. |

magnetically levitates the 40mm acrylic platter for reduced

The 2M technology
 2M
are designed for precise and accurate retrieval of the
information in the record groove. Our philosophy is to play
the record sound as accurate as possible, without coloring
the sound. We have optimized the design for ease of mounting
the cartridge, weight and size to fit the most common
turntables at the market today.
All of the 2M cartridges feature diamonds which are polished
to the highest standards in the industry. The 2M Bronze
features a nude Fine Line diamond stylus, which is
particularly suited for demanding applications. The slim
profile of the Fine Line stylus will track even the highest
frequency information, making it a must for discerning
listeners. Additionally, its larger footprint ensures
reduced distortion and record wear.
MC Salsa
 MC
Salsa have a tiny, nude Elliptical or Fine Line diamond,
mounted on a very light and rigid cantilever. This results
in low equivalent stylus tip mass and cantilever compliance
on 14 and 15 μm/mN, which means that MC Salsa will give
excellent results with virtually any tone arm. The armature
has been designed as a tiny lightweight cross, and the coils
are mounted at exactly 90 degree to each other (just like
the walls of the record groove), which is improving the
channel separation. The magnet and improved damping system
has allowed its natural pivotal point to be placed
immediately behind the armature, this is giving an extremely
precise moving system. |

Ortofon Super OM 10 Cartridges
OM Series- The new Super OM cartridges
have been designed on the basis of Ortofon's lightweight
moving magnet system - originally introduced in the OM
(Optimum Match) Series - with two major refinements. By
means of advanced computer simulation methods, it has been
possible to define the natural pivot point of the system
with unprecedented accuracy while achieving an optimum
oscillation balance. This translates into improved
linearity, higher channel separation, and reduced
distortion.
In addition, Ortofon has succeeded in developing a technique
by which to slit the less than 1 mm diameter hollow pole
pins, thus significantly reducing eddy current losses caused
by magnetic hysteresis. This sophisticated technology
extends the frequency range and improves phase linearity.
The cartridge body is manufactured from a Noryl
plastic/glass combination, which ensures high rigidity, and
freedom from resonances. |

PHONOMENA II PHONO STAGE
The new Musical Surroundings Phonomena II Phono
Stage from Michael Yee is a replacement for the award winning Phonomena.
The Phonomena II is based on the existing Nova Phonomena but without the
battery pack. The Phonomena II was introduced at the 2008 CES Show
together with a Benz Micro SLR cartridge and the sound was magic!
Built in California, the Phonomena II is a phono stage with incredible
flexibility and performance. Based on the discrete, circuit developed by
designer Michael Yee for the Nova, the Phonomena II has rear panel
accessible switches for gain and loading.
The Phonomena II is a complete phonograph preamplifier with RIAA
equalization that amplifies the output signal of a phonograph cartridge,
either moving-coil or moving-magnet, up to a nominal "line level". The
Phonomena II may be used with a receiver or an integrated amplifier. If
you use separate components, a line level control unit (preamplifier) is
required before the power amp, since there is no independent volume
control for the Phonomena II unit. The Phonomena II's power supply
connects to the wall with the supplied wall-mount transformer.

Clearaudio Smartphono Phonostage
The Basic
phonostage offers both MM and MC capabilities, with enough gain to
drive the lowest output cartridges. It is a very simple unit to
operate with a single button switching between MM and MC
functionality. Another nice feature is it dedicated power
transformer, which resides outside the actual phonostage to keep the
audio circuit as quiet as possible. The Basic is available in both
Black and Silver finish.
